My name is Claudia Sardinha. I have a degree in Social Communication (Advertising) from Gama Filho, a degree in Computer Networks from Senac, and a postgraduate degree in Business Communication. I'm a born nerd/geek. I started playing video games, and at the age of three, in 1981, I already had a Dactar (a generic Atari). Throughout my childhood, I owned several video games (Dinavision II and III, Super Nintendo). Thanks to my father, I also had exposure to computers from an early age. At the age of eight, in 1986, he brought home an Apple II, my first experience with a personal computer and my beloved Karateka, lol. Soon followed an MSX, a PC 386, a PC 486, a Pentium 133MHz, a K6, an Athlon, a Dual Core, a wonderful i7 with 16GB of RAM (I love to brag about that... hahahaha) until my current gaming PC. But for some not-so-bizarre reason (a glitch in the Matrix, perhaps?), I ended up majoring in advertising and marketing first...lol. A career I pursued for 10 years, until I realized that IT was truly my place...after all, I'm a geek, right? Hehe. Inside my backpack, there will always be a book or comic to read. A cell phone and portable charger are indispensable; after all, how am I supposed to hunt Pokémon without a battery? I can't go a day without watching a series. I love playing video games and am addicted to Resident Evil (and never say it's a zombie game). I love reading fantasy or horror books on long bus rides through Rio de Janeiro's traffic jams. I've provided content for portals like Tech Tudo (from Globo.com), Olhar Digital, and Papo Aleatório. Today, I'm an IT and digital marketing consultant, as well as active at the SeJoga board gamer event. That's me. I love this tech-geek world, but know that I never miss an opportunity for a good conversation and a hike on a sunny day.
